We are commissioned to redesign the channel branding for this young news channel. Instead of working on a general news image (using globe, lines, flashing dots etc), we took another approach trying to reveal the global trend of news development. We consider news as an open conversation nowadays of which everyone can participate and be part of it, mainstream media no longer holds the key for news distribution but anyone of us. We use an open dialogue bubble to symbolize this concept and work through it to all elements used in the channel. We aim at arousing awareness of this channel (currently not a mainstream with less popularity) by using unified channel image from time to time, and hope to cooperate with them in the future to further leverage the brand.
